MIKE LACROSSE
“Trout fishermen appreciate clearly the value of clean water and healthy habitat, but how much do they understand about the fish themselves...”
MIKE LACROSSE is a lifelong New Hampshire resident. He was raised in Loudon and now resides in West Chesterfield. Mike currently leads a small team of building enclosure professionals for an engineering consulting firm based in Vermont. A long-time angler, it was a recent exposure to fly fishing that led him to pay closer attention to New Hampshire’s wild native trout waters. Living just minutes from one of New Hampshire’s only 13 rivers and streams formally managed for wild trout, Mike has been able to fish for wild native brook trout while educating his children about the critical fish habitat that supports them. Mike looks to use his role with NFC to inform and educate others through volunteer efforts, while also increasing his knowledge of native fish. He can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
