PATRICK HUNTER

PATRICK HUNTER was born and raised in the Carolinas. He grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains where he fell in love with hunting, fishing and the outdoors. While a student at Clemson University, Patrick took a fly-fishing leisure skill class, and began tying flies to get a break between classes. What started as a hobby became a passion, and Patrick now pursues all types of freshwater and saltwater fish with a fly, including those he ties. Patrick fishes throughout the Southeast, and as a freelance writer and photographer he looks to showcase all that the region has to offer fly anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. He is an Environmental Engineer by trade, and works to conserve the water resources, wildlife, wild places, and wild native fish of the Carolinas.
