PAUL BUGEJA

PAUL BUGEJA started fly fishing as teenager in the 1970s. His focus at the time was ponds in New Jersey. After moving to Vermont in 1989, Paul’s focus quickly changed to wild native brook trout in mountain streams. More than 35 years later, Paul’s focus is still small streams and wild native brook trout. The only difference is that he is as interested in protecting, preserving, and restoring them as he is fishing them. Paul joined the Vermont NFC board in 2017, soon after its founding. along the way he served as the VT NFC Chair for just over 2 years before terming out.
