On Saturday, April 17th, members of the Pennsylvania chapter of Native Fish Coalition (NFC) and a volunteer from the local Conservation District conducted a habitat assessment on the East Fork of Sinnemahoning Creek in Potter County.

Involved were PA NFC Chair Philip Light, Vice Chair Andrew Mickey, Secretary Chris Mickey, Board member Jared Dickerson, and Emily Shosh from the Potter County Conservation District. The group confirmed the presence of some level of wild native brook trout, and breached a large manmade rock dam to enhance fish passage, decrease warming, and reduce silt build-up.
