NFC Launches New Ohio Chapter...

NFC is excited to announce the launch of a new Ohio chapter. This will give NFC a 3-state contiguous footprint in the northeast and eastern Great Lakes region along with Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Ohio has a high abundance of native fishes, including two large and diverse water bodies: Lake Erie and the Ohio River. These waters alone are home to roughly 145 native fish species across 25 families, three of which make up over 60% of the species. The majority of Ohio’s native fish are classified as non-gamefish, making Ohio unique, and further emphasizing that NFC is about fish not fishing.
