Maine NFC Attends Common Ground Fair...
Recruiting the next generation of wild native fish advocates… All will be sporting NFC hats thanks to their generous donations.
ME NFC is wrapping up at Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine, a 3-day agricultural and organic living event that attracts tens of thousands of attendees each year. A non-typical event for NFC, it is one of our top 4 events of the year in regard to fund-raising. It is also a place where we get an opportunity to engage non-anglers in regard to wild native fish.
Special thanks to National Chair Emily Bastian for coordinating the event, ME NFC Chair Larry Bastian for setting up, breaking down, and manning the booth Sunday; and ME board members Brian Rhea, Tom Johnson, Mark Simonds, Isaac Niblock (Secreatry), Savanna Patenaude, Michael Angelides, and Rich Yvon for helping out at the event.
