Ohio NFC Hosts Stream Sampling at Tinker's Creek...
The Ohio chapter of NFC joined Cleveland Metroparks and Tinker's Creek Watershed Partners to host a native fish stream sampling event on Tinker's Creek in the Cleveland Metroparks. Various native fishes were captured using non-lethal electrofishing equipment and seines including green sunfish, western blacknose dace, rock bass, and white sucker. The fish were shown to those in attendance, discussed, and then released back to the stream unharmed. Special thanks to OH NFC and our partners for making this wild native fish educational event happen.
