State/Local Chapter-Level Donations

Background

While National NFC will continue to raise money through memberships, donations, and merchandise sales, as well as administration/staffing grants and certain research and habitat grants, chapters will need to help raise money for their show/event and field equipment, as well as informational signs, lab tests, etc. State and local donations from individuals and businesses are a good way to to do that.

SUMMARY

With 21 chapters and growing, NFC needs to look for additional funding sources. In many cases, chapters can tap into state and local grants to help fund their own equipment and projects.
