NFC Business Cards

Background

Business cards are an important tool for exchanging contact information with supporters and potential partners. We highly encourage chapter board members and officers to use some form of formal NFC business card.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • All NFC business cards will have a beige back with 3 QR codes: Donate, Join, and Shop.

  • All NFC business cards will have the NFC homepage URL (NativeFishCoalition.org)

  • All NFC business cards will have the Info@NativeFishCoalition.org email address

    • The generic NFC email address is auto-forwarded to the Executive Director and National Chair. Emails from outside the organization are responded to within 48 hours and immediately forwarded to the appropriate state board member where applicable.

    • Personal email addresses are not allowed for several reasons: Professionalism, common look and feel, timely and consistent response, and obsolescence.

  • No NFC business card will contain a phone number to encourage email versus phone calls. The NFC number is available on the website for those who want to call.

GENERIC BUSINESS CARDS

NFC provides all chapters with generic business cards for use at shows and events free of cost.

  • Generic business cards should be stored with the chapter show/event supplies so they are available when needed.

  • They should be put out on the table at events for people to take.

  • If you would like some generic business cards for non-show/event use, feel free to take 5-6 and replenish them when needed.

  • If your chapter does not have generic business cards, please reach out to the National Chair.

PERSONALIZED BUSINESS CARDS

NFC board members can purchase personal business cards using artwork provided by NFC if desired.

  • Personal business cards will have your name on the front along with the standard contact information noted above.

  • Personal business cards can have the PROTECT.PRESERVE.RESTORE logo or a state logo. The PPR logo is recommended for those who belong to more than one chapter and those who may change chapters due to work, school, or relocation.

  • NFC will provide free print-ready art in .pdf format for custom business cards on request.

  • We recommend you use an online business card vendor such as VistaPrint.
