R.L. Winston has been making best-in-class fly rods since 1929. After decades working with bamboo, fiberglass, and traditional graphite, Winston introduced their first 2 groundbreaking boron/graphite composite fly rods, BL5 and XTR, in 1994. This led to the groundbreaking and hugely successful BIIx series and subsequent rods built with their boron/graphite composite. Winston quality, performance, workmanship, and aesthetics are unmatched in the mainstream fly rod industry.

Taking out a lifetime membership with a fly rod helps NFC raise money while giving you a state of the art fly rod. Lifetime memberships with an R.L. Winston rod comes with a, “Native Fish Coalition” inscribed modern boron/graphite fly rod. Options available for Small Stream (273-4 Pure 2), Freshwater (590-4 Air 2) and Big Game (890-4 Air 2 Max). Comes with your choice of one of two Lifetime Member hats, an NFC Lifetime Member decal, brochure, and digital newsletter.

NFC uses memberships as a way for you to show your support for what we do and help fund native fish conservation initiatives. If you want to be involved in day-to-day operations or decision making, please contact us about a possible Board or Advisory Council position in your respective state. Rods are shipped from Montana. As a conservation organization, NFC looks to lessen our ecological footprint to the highest degree possible. As a donor funded organization, we work to limit our administrative costs as well. In order to reduce our use of paper, envelopes, ink cartridges, and postage, you will receive an electronic order confirmation for tax purposes.
