OUTDOORS: Brown trout, not brookies king now

Stuff like this upsets me. I am the first to say I love chasing brown trout. They evolved in rich streams where they could afford to be picky. Brook tour evolved in sterile water where they had to eat anything they saw. Browns are not “smart” and brookies are not “stupid.” But I would rather immerse myself in nature and chase fish that belonged in the natural world. —Ted
