Superstar NFC volunteer Kerry Hegarty just posted the first State Heritage Fish sign of spring 2020. Driving 74 miles round trip and spending 4 hours afield, Kerry posted a single sign at a small remote State Heritage Fish pond in northwestern Somerset County. His 26th water to date, Kerry is a top-4 volunteer.
Looking for something to do in this time of uncertainty and social distancing, and already in Maine, considering signing up to post some signs as a way to get out, do something fun, and help our wild native fish while you are at it.
In order to remain safe on all sides, we can make arrangements for folks to pick up their signs without having to meet anyone in person. Just ask and we’ll see what we can do to make it work, and safely for all involved.
