We have no parent organization or large corporate sponsors, and only years not decades of existence resulting in far fewer members and donors than most of of peers. And we are operating in a niche within a niche within in niche - conservation, fish, native fish…
NFC is a growing organization doing what we can with what we have, including playing in the historically ignored and difficult world of fisheries management policy and regulations. We look to get involved in habitat work, and in the right places. And also data collection and studies where there is a clear end goal.
Much of our funding comes from memberships and donations. And membership numbers help legitimize an organization while making it easier to get the attention of the powers that be - especially politicians and legislators who often wield absolute power and authority in the world of fisheries management.
NFC has a secure membership/donation portal on our website which accepts all major credit cards. It can be accessed through our website home page and most other webpages. You can also join and donate through our online store, which accepts credit cards and PayPal.
NFC offers annual and lifetime student, individual, and family memberships. And two levels of annual and lifetime business sponsor memberships - state and national, both of which come with linked logos on one or more webpages. You can also renew/extend your annual memberships.
Lifetime memberships are available with fly rod and full outfit options from R.L. Winston and Bauer Reels.
We also have special species level memberships that come with a NFC decal denoting your favorite native fish…
Lastly, you can donate to NFC at various levels, including a recurring option. If you wish to donate using PayPal, you can do so through our online store.
