We Are Live in Virginia...

We are very excited to announce the official launch of our new Virginia state chapter. Having a chapter in Virginia extents NFCs northernmost contiguous footprint south to now include ME, NH, VT, MA, NY, PA, NJ, OH, WV, and VA. It also gets NFC within one state, North Carolina, of connecting our northernmost footprint with our southernmost contiguous footprint.

Virginia is the state that delineates Northern and Southern strain, the only two universally recognized strains of wild native brook trout in the world, with the line of demarcation being the New River watershed in the southwest part of the state . Many other important native fish species call Virginia home as well.
