New Way to Support NFC: Sponsor Field Equipment

NFC has created a new way to support the organization and wild native fish. Effective immediately, you can sponsor equipment to be used in the field by NFC via a donation. This includes data loggers, thermometers, tape measures, and tools.

With 16 state chapters and growing, a footprint that extends from Maine to Alabama, and multiple projects going on at any given time, with the exception of certain low-use expensive items, NFC can no longer move equipment between chapters financially or effectively.

Our goal is to provide each chapter with the tools they need to assess stream habitat so as to have a full understanding of what is going on before they propose any forms of mitigation. It will also allow chapters to do minor habitat work such as clearing obstructions to improve flow, temperature, and fish-passage.
