NFC Looking to Extend Footprint West into the Great Lakes Region...

Having just launched a chapter in Maryland, NFC now has a contiguous footprint from Maine to Alabama and west to Tennessee and Ohio. The only two geographic voids in our contiguous footprint are Rhode Island and Delaware, the two smallest states in the nation.

A logical next move for NFC would be to try to push further west into the Great Lakes region. Wisconsin is home to a critically important life history strategy of brook trout, coasters. Michigan is home to wild native brook trout, and is target for rare, unique and geographically isolated Arctic graying restoration.
