It's Time to Get Back into the Woods to Post Maine State Heritage Fish Signs...

Now that the fish are biting, it’s a good time and excuse to get into the backcountry to help post informational signs on Maine’s State Heritage Fish waters. NFC’s largest volunteer effort to date, thanks to support from people like you we have been able to post 495 signs on 353 waters.

Volunteering to post signs is a great way to find new wild native brook trout water, while helping to protect these unique and irreplaceable natural resources. It is also fun and rewarding. NFC provides signs, hardware, and GIS locations where needed.
