Business Sponsor Spotlight: Fly Rods and Beer - Supporting Wild Native Fish and NFC...
At less than eight years old, NFC does not have large corporate sponsors like more visible and mature organizations do. The government is not throwing grants at us as they are more established organizations, which is a problem as it results in too much money in too few hands along with a lack of accountability, creativity, and new ideas. We earn our money the hard way, dollar at a time.
Along with a number of small companies and family owned businesses which generously support us that you can learn about on our website, NFC has two privately owned businesses that help us do what we do. These businesses, Epic Fly Rods out of New Zealand and Northwoods Brewing out of New Hampshire, also just happen to provide two of our favorite things: Fiberglass fly rods and craft beer…
Both of these companies do much more than simply supporting NFC financially, something we are very grateful for and helps us immensely. Epic Fly Rods co-sponsors an NFC-written wild native fish conservation column in MidCurrent. Northwoods Brewing developed a specialty beer spotlighting Maine’s unique and environmentally important State Heritage Fish waters along with NFC.
special thanks to epic fly rods and northwoods brewing for their continued support of wild native fish and nfc. Please support them as they have supported us and what is most important to us.
