DREW JACOBS

DREW JACOBS is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Resource with a concentration in fisheries from West Virginia University. He has a passion for native species, fly fishing, and the outdoors. Drew grew up in the Pine Barrens region of New Jersey where he gained an appreciation for, and knowledge of, native species and their ecological importance. Two of his favorite species are chain pickerel and brook trout, two of the most common native fish found in New Jersey. Since graduating with an A.S. degree, Drew has been a presenter at the New Jersey Fish and Wildlife “WILD” outdoor expo. Drew builds glass and bamboo fly rods which he uses on small Appalachian streams in search of wild native brook trout on public land.
