JOEL GIGUERE

JOEL GIGUERE started fishing at the age of three while on family vacations in northern Michigan. This is where he developed a passion for all things outdoors. Throughout his youth Joel hiked, paddled, and fished the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. He currently works in theater as a designer, technical director, and stage manager. Early in his career, Joel lived in New York City and toured the world, but grew tired of city life and its confines. Joel moved to Vermont to be closer to fresh air, cold clear streams, and the wild native fish he remembered from his youth. When he discovered these fish had been there since the last ice age, it triggered him into action to help protect and preserve wild native fish and their habitats for his children’s future and others who enjoy our natural national treasures.
