JUSTIN WILSON

JUSTIN WILSON grew up on the upper reaches of the Coosa River. As a child he fished the small and large creeks that flowed into the Coosa River near his home. This led to a connection with the watershed and its fish that is as strong today as it was then. Justin moved to Louisiana to pursue a career in wildlife biology. While there he fished for native freshwater and saltwater species. He particularly enjoyed the Chandeleur and Breton Islands. From Louisiana, Justin moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida.  Here he honed his fishing and guiding skills on the inshore waters by foot and boat, fishing for redfish, sea trout, tarpon, and sharks.  Justin is pashionate about wild native fish and looks to use his position in NFC to help preserve them for generations to come.  He can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
