PHILLIP CROTEAU
“Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, and as vital to our lives as water and good bread. A civilization which destroys what little remains of the wild, the spare, the original, is cutting itself off from its origins and betraying the principle of civilization itself...”
PHILLIP CROTEAU grew up in northern New Jersey. He currently lives and works in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. After graduating Rutgers University in 2018, Philiip worked for a variety of conservation-related nonprofits. An avid outdoorsman and conservationist, Phillip enjoys fly fishing, hunting, backpacking, and biking the dirt roads around his home. It was a backpacking trip in the White Mountains of New Hampshire that solidified Phillip’s passsion for fly fishing and wild native fish. Phillip is passionate about conserving biodiversity and protecting the ecological integrity of the region. He can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org.
