U.S. Forest Service Land in Vermont Gets No Baitfish Signs

IMG_1473.jpeg

As part of a multi-agency initiative to post informational signs pertaining to the prohibition on the use of baitfish on a group of self-sustaining native brook trout ponds in Vermont, VT NFC board member Jed Feffer, Jeremy Mears from the U.S. Forest Service, and former Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board member Justin Lindholm trekked 2 miles into the Vermont backcountry to post the first signs on U.S. Forest Service land. Big thanks to Jed, Jeremy, and Justin for stepping up for our pond-dwelling wild native brook trout.
