NFC Announces Georgia Chapter

Georgia is home to the southernmost wild native brook trout in the world.

“Georgia is home to 265 native species of freshwater fish, the third highest in the United States behind Alabama and Tennessee only. ”

NFC is very exited to announce the formation of a new Georgia chapter. This expands our southeastern U.S. coverage, while creating a large, and very important, contiguous footprint in Alabama/Georgia.

Georgia is home to the southernmost populations of wild native brook trout in the world. It is also the bridge between rare native stream-resident bass and native trout.
