NH NFC Helps E-Fish Beebe River Headwater Tributaries...

New Hampshire NFC Vice Chair Aliess John and board member Jeff Moore recently joined volunteers from Pemigiwassett TU and NH Fish & Game staff to help e-fish some headwater tributaries to the Beebe River.

Fish surveys in the upper Beebe watershed have been going on for a number of years now. It was also the site of some notable connectivity work involving culvert replacements, as well as some large woody debris deposits.

With years of population data, NFC would like to take a closer look and ascertain what impact the work has had on wild native brook trout, as well as what else could be done to allow the population to reach its potential.
