**Several banded darter captured from Big Walnut Creek…**

The Ohio chapter of NFC recently co-hosted a native fish sampling event on Big Walnut Creek in Columbus with Ohio Women on the Fly. This was our 3rd event with them. The group captured 11 different native fish species downstream of Hoover Dam Reservoir using seine nets. This included trout-perch, banded darter, and western blacknose dace. The group also measured species abundance and water quality.
