Vermont NFC Informational Signs Spotlighted by Manchester Journal...
“The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, the U.S. Forest Service, the Native Fish Coalition and Trout Unlimited’s Southwest Vermont Chapter have all teamed up to install informative signs near headwater streams along the Battenkill, Walloomsac and Hoosic Rivers.”
The Vermont Chapter of NFC has been working with several partners to develop a series of informational signs denoting the presence of wild native brook trout. These signs have been posted on streams in the headwaters of several major drainages including the Batten Kill, Deerfield, Hoosic, and Walloomsac.
