South Carolina - We're Live!
NFC is excited to announce the launch of our new South Carolina chapter. This gives us a 3-state contiguous footprint in the biodiversity rich southeast, along with Alabama and Georgia. South Carolina represents the northeastern most range of native redeye bass, known locally as Bartram’s bass. It is also the southeastern most corner of native brook trout range.
Special thanks to Will Mundhenke (Chair), Scott Keener (Vice Chair), Taylor LeBlanc (Secretary), and Members at Large Abigail Payne, Jeff Scoggin, Josh Summer and Radford Swent for stepping up in support of South Carolina’s wild native fish.
And thanks to NFC National Vice Chair Emily Bastian for pulling things together, and NFC Technologist Ben Brunt for helping with the South Carolina webpage and logos.
